Mike O'Loughlin To Play Basketball and Get Top Notch Education

The athletic Mike O'Loughlin

Milford's Mike O'Loughlin, who is our #4 ranked senior in the NH Class of 2011, has committed to play basketball at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. O'Loughlin joins fellow Granite State Jayhawks AAU teammate Steve Spirou (Pelham) , who is our #6 ranked NH senior, in committing to Trinity. Trinity plays in the the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference), which is one of the best Division III conferences in the country for both academics and basketball.

O'Loughlin is an athletic guard that does a little bit of everything. O'Loughlin has already scored 1,000 high school points, been selected as a NH All-State player, and has a Class I State Championship under his belt. O'Loughlin can get up and down the floor, score in transition, and make shots. O'Loughlin may be the best pure scorer in New Hampshire high school basketball. He puts the ball in the basket in so many ways. He can knock down the three, pull-up in transition, and get to the rim and finish. Added to that, O'Loughlin is a winner. We expect that he'll have an incredible career at Trinity.

Trinity coach James Cosgrove is only in his 1st season at the Division III NESCAC school, but he has two great pick-ups in O'Loughlin and Spirou.
