Hurynowicz Nets 1,000 Point With Triple-Double

Zach Hurynowicz scored his 1,000 Points

Burlington High School 6'2" senior Zach Hurynowicz scored his 1000th point tonight as the Red Devils upset Lexington High School 66 - 61 at the home of the Minutemen. Hurynowicz's 3 pointer came with 2 minutes remaining in the game putting Burlington up 11. The three ended a 14-2 run by Burlington in which Hurynowicz scored 12 of the 14 points. Hurynowicz's run broke open a game that was tired at 42-42 at the end of three quarters. The talented guard finished with 32 points on the evening, with 22 of them coming in the second half. Hurynowicz was dominating again as he carried Burlington posting a triple-double that included 32 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds on the evening.

Freshman Shane Farley impressed again as he finished with 7 points, including 2 very clutch free throw with 31 seconds left to put Burlington up 5. Farley also added 5 rebounds. Freshman Christian Morneweck also impressed with 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Demitri Monovoukas led Lexington with 11 points and Chris O'Keefe added 10 points.
