New Rankings Released - Mass. Girls


Rankings Updated for Classes of 2011, 2012 and 2013

We continue to update our rankings, and next up is the Mass. Girls. Below we highlight the top 10 players in each class, with full rankings available via the drop-down menu.

Class of 2011
1. Natalie Gomez, Andover High - The Division I prospect lead Andover to Division-I Mass. Girls state title mere weeks ago (pictured left).
2. Amber Dillon, Brookline High - Athletic 5'7" guard who does everything you would want a guard to do.
3. Blake Dietrick, Wellesley High - Do-it-all 5'9" guard can put the ball in the basket as well as anyone.
4. Cheyenne Jennings, Wachusett Regional - A pure point guard, Jennings is an excellent floor leader.
5. Brenna Gonsalves, Coyle Cassidy - Gonsalves had a big year for Coyle Cassidy, scoring 486 points on the season.
6. Tori Faieta, St. Mary's Lynn - The 6'2" Faieta has over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds
7. Nicole Beresford, Marshfield High - 6'0" forward with good strength and the ability to score and rebound the basketball.
8. Lizzy Ball, Manchester Essex High - The 5'8" guard can shoot, drive and defend.
9. Gabie Polce, Central Catholic - 5'10" guard who really takes it strong to the hoop.
10. Kellie McDonald, Danvers High - 6'0" forward who can score, rebound and setp out and hit jumper.

Class of 2012
1. Nicole Boudreau, Andover - Excellent shooter, helped lead Andover to state title.
2. Brooke Stewart, Masconomet Regional - Solid frame an good all around game for the 5'10" wing.
3. Maggie Brown, Wilmington High - 6'0" forward who is a very tough, physical inside player.
4. Tiana Johnson, Brockton High - 5'6" guard who can handle the ball and create for herself or teammates.
5. Elizabeth Belanger, Acton-Boxborough - 6'0" forward can score inside or out.
6. Syndey Jackson, Stoughton High - Jackson is a big, strong player in the post at 6'1".
7. Lauren Hebert, North Reading High - Smooth player who makes the game look easy.
8. Blake Underhill, Ashland High - Tough 5'6" point guard who sees the floor well.
9. Lexi Sells, Lasalle Academy - Athletic 5'10" wing who can put up points in a hurry.
10. Taylor Sweeney, Everett - 5'8" guard who can really shoot the basketball.

Class of 2013
1. Morgan Lumb, North Andover High - Talented 5'9" guard goes to the rim hard and finishes well.
2. Devon Caveney, Andover High - 5'6" guard with solid skill set.
3. Julia Wood, Bishop Feehan - 5'7" guard with good speed, shooting and ball handling abilities.
4. Casey McLaughlin, Central Catholic - 5'11" forward can rebound down low and shoot it as well.
5. Nicole Viselli, Pentucket High - Strong 5'9" guard with excellent outside shot.
6. Brittany Lomano, Billerica High - The 5'5" Lomano is a good ball handler, passer, and cpmpetes well with uperclassmen.
7. Caitlin King, Amesbury High - Smart player who can hit shots and handle the ball at 5'8".
8. Asia Mitchell, Oliver Ames High - One of the top defenders in the class.
9. Alison Migneault, Arlington Catholic - Active inside player at 6'0".
10. Indira Evora, Somerville High - 5'8" guard who plays well in transition.

New Rankings Released - Mass. Boys


New End of Season Rankings

We released a new set of rankings the other day for the NH Boys, now it's time for the Mass. Boys. Rankings have been updated for the classes of 2011, 2012 and 2013. Below we highlight the top 10 players in each class, but full rankings can be seen on the site via the drop-down menu.

Class of 2011
1. Zach Auguste, Marlborough High - The 6'9" wing has high D-I potential.
2. Pat Connaughton, St. John's Prep - The 6'4" Connaughton can take over a game and does everything it takes to win.
3. Cedric Kuakumensah, Worecester North - He's 6'7", athletic and can play inside or out.
4. Jules Tavares, Wareham High - 6'2" guard who is quick, athletic and explosive.
5. Demitry Coronell, East Boston High - 6'4" wing who can really shoot it off the dribble.
6. Jimmy Zenevitch, Central Catholic - Excellent inside scorer and rebounder.
7. Tevin Falzon, Newton North High - This 6'7" forward is big, powerful and skilled.
8. Joe Mussachia, Manchester Essex High - 6'5" wing with strong frame and good all around game.
9. Zach Hurynowicz, Burlington High - Solid floor general and defender.
10. Donald Celestin, Greater Lawrence Tech - Explosive 6'3" two-guard who can score from the outside or off the bounce.

Class of 2012
1. Nerlens Noel, Everett High - Tremendous upside for this 6'9" forward who has high major D-I's already looking at him.
2. Kamali Bey, Sabis Charter - 6'3" two-guard has scored 1,000 points in just two seasons.
3. Jaylen Brantley, Springfield Central - Very talented player, can compete with anyone in his class.
4. Steve Wynn, New Bedford High - Quick guard can make plays for himself as well as his teammates.
5. Akosa Maduegbunam, Charlestown High - Solid wing player with excellent athleticism.
6. Dana Hines, Concord Carlisle High - Tough player with good size and finishing ability in the post.
7. Mike Thorpe, Newton North High - Talented young guard can play the one or the two.
8. Stephen Haladyna, Saint John's Prep - Extremely quick player who excels in the open court.
9. John Powell, Ashland High - He has good size, and plays hard on both ends of the floor.
10. Luis Puello, Central Catholic - One of the fastest players around, and one of the best defenders around.

Class of 2013
1. Noah Vonleh, Haverhill High - The 6'5" Vonleh is one of the top 50 freshmen in the country.
2. Wayne Selden, O'Bryant High - Very solid all around game for the 6'4" wing.
3. Jacquil Taylor, Cambridge Rindge & Latin - Big body at 6'7", Taylor is strong and can score around the basket.
4. Ramon Gibbons, Charlestown High - Very strong and athletic 6'1" guard.
5. Cornelious Tyson, Springfield Central - Tremendous quickness, athleticism and ball handling ability for the 6'1" point guard.
6. Derek Collins, North Andover High - A 6'1" two-guard, Collins is the best shooter in this class.
7. Alec Brennan, Weston High - A 6'7" forward with excellent mobility.
8. Kamari Robinson, Springfield Central - Strong, athletic big man.
9. Jameilen Jones, Boston College High - 6'4" forward is athletic and can put the ball on the floor and make plays.
10. Sam Dowden, Andover High -Tough player who can play inside or out.
