Miller Commits to BC


Andover Product = Top Football Recruit

Brian Miller, from Andover High, has made a commitment to play football at Boston College. The junior is one of the top football prospects in the area. In addition to playing football, Miller also plays forward for the Andover basketball squad, and is one of the top 25 rated players in the Class of 2011 for Massachusetts.

Miller is a key member of the Andover hoops team, but clearly football is his best sport. The 6'4" Miller's combination of strength, speed and athleticism will make him a big asset to the BC football team.

Ruffin, Winnacunnet Receive National Attention


Ruffin Among 7 Finalists for National Award

Tiffany Ruffin and the Winnacunnet High (Hampton, NH) girls basketball team continue to make headlines.

Ruffin has been named as one of the seven finalists for the ESPN RISE Ms. Basketball Award. This is a national award, with players from all over the country being considered. Ruffin, a 5'7" guard, finished her career as the 45th ranked player in the nation according to ESPN RISE. She has a full scholarship to play basketball at Boston College.

All season long, Ruffin's Winnacunnet team has been nationally ranked by ESPN RISE. They finished the season as the #10 team in the East Region, and the #45 team in the country. Winnacunnet has won four consecutive NH Class L state titles and they've won 53 straight games.
