Desrosiers Earns ACC Recognition

StatSheet ACC Freshman of the Week: Wake Forest's Carson Desrosiers

Carson Desrosiers is one of the few high school players in the country that have made the transition from regular high school (not Prep) to a major high level college program as a Freshman. Desrosiers, who led Central Catholic to two Division 1 State Championships, has worked his way into the starting line-up for the ACC's Wake Forest University.

Desrosiers had an outstanding week and was StatSheet ACC Freshman of the Week. Desrosiers played an average of 30 minutes while starting both games for Wake Forest. His average in blocked shots (4.0 per game) led all ACC players this week. Against Maryland, Desrosiers chalked up 9 rebounds and 7 blocked shots. Against Virginia Tech, he dialed up 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
