Samantha McCann Spent Much of Her Career Triple TeamedSamantha McCann, a 6-foot-1 senior center from Quaboag, scored 26 points, including the 1,000th of her career in the first quarter yesterday as the Cougars defeated the visiting Indians 53 - 29. Last season, McCann led Quaboag Regional to their eighth consecutive Central Mass. title before losing to the Western Mass. champion Lee High at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.
