Javon Williams Top Junior In New Hampshire
Javon Williams from Nashua North is our top rated junior in New Hampshire High School basketball. Williams has the natural athletic ability that is superior to any other high school player in the state. William’s body is incredible, his speed just as impressive, his crossover a killer, and he has a jump shot that has him elevated well above the crowd. Have other NH High school guards been more effective this year, absolutely. But our evaluation is based on who is the best college prospect and that’s Javon Williams. Not far behind Williams is 6’10” Silver Aluko from Trinity High School. Although far from a complete player, one cannot overlook Aluko’s size and length. We think Aluko’s best days are ahead of him. The two superior prospects have upside that is unmatchable by anybody in the class. Following these two is Souhegan's athletic small forward Devin Gilligan. The 6’4” Gilligan is a power player who uses his strength to get the rim. At #4 is 6’4” Merrimack southpaw Tyler Gendron who has good size and a soft touch. Gendron is a long range shooter who can makes shots from well behind the three point arc. Following in the 5th and 6th spots are athletic guards Gabe LaCount and Ryan Gauthier from Manchester Central and Nashua North. The 6’1” LaCount is a versatile player that gets it done in a variety of ways. He can knock down the three as well as get to the rim and finish. Gauthier is a combination guard that is at his best in transition. Our #7 rated player is Bishop Guertin's 6'2" guard Logan Kesty. Kesty has been a key player for Guertin this year making big plays in a variety of ways. Kesty scores the basketball in a multitude of ways. Our #8 rated junior is another Bishop Guertin product in Brad Holler . Holler may be the best three point shooter in the class. Holler has extended range beyond the NBA stripe and is known for making big shots. See the rest of the rankings for the NH Boys Class of 2012 below.

David Madol Best In NH Boys Class of 2011
David Madol is Best in NH Class of 2011
There is little doubt that Manchester Memorial's David Madol is the best prospect in New Hampshire High School Basketball. Madol's game has evolved to make him a talented 6'5" wingman who can knock down the three, put the ball to the floor, and finish in traffic. Madol can also play the game above the rim and is extremely quick off his feet and a great rebounder in traffic. Madol is clearly a scholarship prospect.
Milford's Jamie Holder comes in second and is the most improved basketball player in New Hampshire over the last two years. At 6'2", Holder is a late bloomer who is extremely athletic and is able to finish acrobatically around the rim. Holder who plays the 2-guard much of the time for his high-school team is the best point guard in New Hampshire high school basketball and has great upside at that position. Holder is likely to enroll in a year of Prep school following his senior campaign. With this, Holder is a scholarship level player.
Manchester Central's John Wickey has continued to improve. He impressed us against Bishop Guertin as he was a dominating presence in the post and was also able to step away from the basket and make shots. Wickey also moves well for a big man and has a good basketball future ahead of him.
Milford's Mike O'Loughlin is the best scorer in New Hampshire High School basketball as he O'Loughlin is an athletic guard that does a little bit of everything. He can get up and down the floor, score and transition, and make shots. O'Loughin will be taking his talents to Trinity next year.
Pittsfield's Ben Hill is a 6'9" prospect whose best attribute is that he has an excellent upside. As we have said before, one can not overlook Hill's size and athleticism. Still quite raw, Hill shows moments of division 1 potential as he can attack the basket and has nice touch from 12 feet in. He is still a work in progress, but we expect he'll have productive college years ahead.

Jeremy Miller Leads Freshman Class
Jeremy Miller is our # 1 Freshman
Often in basketball we say it's not what they are, but what they are going to be. Our new #1 Freshman Jeremy Miller is a long and athletic forward who has star written all over him. Surely he's still a work in progress, but Miller has the chance to be the real deal. The 6'9" forward is having a great year for Milton High School and things are only get better for this youngster.
Newton North's 6'6" Aaron Falzon comes in at #2 in the Freshman class. Falzon is is a highly skilled forward that can step away from the basket and make the three. Falzon also has a nice feel for the game as he uses head fakes and ball fakes to get by defenders off the dribble.
Medfield's 6'6" Drew Shea comes in at #3 in the Freshman Class. Shea is physical forward who plays the game with a purpose. We love his toughness as he competes hard. He has good touch, a good midrange game, and is very effective around the basket.

1,000 Point Scorers 27 Seconds Apart
Newton South senior guards Sophie Bikofsky (left) and Kendall Burton (right), best friends since age 11, both needed 11 points to reach the 1,000 point mark heading into a match-up against Concord-Carlisle last week. At 7:19 of the second quarter, the sharp-shooting Bikofsky reached her milestone with a three-pointer from the top of the key. Twenty-seven seconds later, the Villanova-bound Burton got hers on a shot she's known for, a running jumper off an inbounds pass.
Bikofsky finished the night with 16 points and six rebounds, putting her at 1,006 points for her career while Burton finished with 13 and five, and is now at 1,002 points. A great story and two great careers. Congrats.

Mass Class of 2013 Updated Winter Rankings
Noah Vonleh Is #1 In Mass Class of 2013
The Sophomore Class is the most talented boys class in Massachusetts. It is deep and talented. Below is a look at our top five players in the class.
First of all, this class has the most talented player in Massachusetts high school basketball in Noah Vonleh, who has quickly become the most recognized name in New England High School basketball. The 6’7” point forward continues to improve every time we see him. He has a combination of size, skill, and athleticism that are all of the charts and he plays the game above the rim. Vonleh plays all five positions on the basketball court and often leaves his opponent staggering from his dribble moves. He can make the three, hit the pull-up, and we’ve seen him dunk on top of his opponent on several occasions this season. It is unusual to get high major division 1 scholarship offers as a sophomore, but Vonleh already has offfers from the likes of Pittsburgh and Boston College. Added to that, Vonleh is currently ranked #23 in ESPN’s top sophomores in the country. Vonleh is joined by division 1 prospect Jacquil Taylor. Taylor is 6’9” and long and is already a game changer on the defensive end of the floor. Taylor’s game has also improved significantly at the offensive end of the floor as he has he has shown us a nice touch from 10 feet in. Taylor also has solidified himself as a division 1 college player and has been offered a division 1 scholarship by UMass Amherst. Jared Terell has an athletic and long body that does not quit. He is strong with the basketball and is effective slashing to the basket, and he has an impressive pull-up that rises way above the crowd. Most impressive about Terell is the way he attacks the basket in transition as he finishes way above the rim with thunderous dunks. Nate Anderson is still a work in progress, but he’s 6’6”, athletic, and he has a great motor. Anderson has shown improvement this year and we expect his stock to continue to rise. Derek Collins is the most impressive scorer of the basketball in the sophomore class, less Vonleh, that we’ve seen in high school basketball. Collins can score the basketball from behind the arc as well as anybody in the state, he has a great looking pull-up, and can get to the rim off the dribble and can finish acrobatically around the rim. His game is very much suited for college already.
