Sophomore Colin Richey Leads The Chaos Point
The Blackstone Valley Chaos is directed by Dennis Richey. The Chaos had a full schedule that included fall trips to the Middlesex Magic Fall Classic , Rivals Ruckus in Reading, the Mplex Tournament, Basketbull Hall of Fame, King of the Mountain - Saratoga, N.Y., and the BABC Veterans Day Classic.
The following players shined for the Chaos this fall.
Frank Broggie (6'4" , F, Sutton High School, 2011) - Extremely tough, aggresive player who can step out and hit the three. Seems to do whatever it takes to help his team win.
Mac Roy (6'1", G, Sutton High School, 2012) - Athletic Junior guard who is a threat from anywhere on the court. Roy has a knack for hitting the big shot.
Kenny Harrington (6'3", G, St Johns-Shrewsbury, 2013) - Long athletic guard with terrific skill set. Has as much potential as any player in Chaos program.
Antonio Estrella (6'4" F, Whitinsville Christian School, 2013) - Huge defensive pesence for the Chaos sophomores. Estrella is a terrific post and help defender who runs the floor well and finishes in transition.
Mark DeVries (5'10", G, Uxbridge High School, 2013) - Tough as nails defender who is deadly from the perimeter. Great teammate who will not allow his teammates to give in.
Colin Richey (6'1" G, Whitinsville Christian School, 2013) - Floor General for Chaos sophomore team. Richey sees the floor well and was more consistent with his perimeter shooting this Fall. He has also developed a left and righthanded lane floater to enhance his in between game.
Connor Brown (6' G, St Peter Marian, 2014) - Extremely cerebral point guard who sees the floor well. Connor has good ball handling skills and a very reliable shot.
Cam Morin (6' F, Douglas High School, 2014) - This freshman had a terrific Fall. Morin has very good footwork in the post and is an excellent passer from the post position.

Bay State Magic Boy's AAU Fall Wrap-up
John Henault can shoot it from downtown
The Bay State Magic Boy's AAU Club had another productive Fall season as director and coach Kalon Jenkins played a competitive schedule that included stops at the Middlesex Magic, Rivals, Bay State Magic, and RI Hawks Fall events. The Bay State Magic teams have a tradition of playing hard and of being extremely well coached. Jenkins, who is the varsity coach at Randolf High School, is one of most respected guys in the business. Here is the list of the young men that shined for him this fall.
John Henault (6’2”, G, St. Bernard’s, 2011) – Henault is a terrific shooter from long distance who can draw fouls in the lane. He competes defensively and provides leadership to his teammates, while not being afraid to take the tough shots when games are on the line. Henault is currently getting interest from schools at the Division II and III levels.
Tim Gallivan (6-7, F, Walpole, 2011) – Gallivan works hard in transition and on the glass, while displaying a solid baseline touch out to 15 feet. He is being heavily recruited by top academic Division III schools in New England and New York.
Dan Powers (6-3, G, Catholic Memorial, 2012) – Powers is a tough, hard-nosed wing who scores in bunches from the perimeter and paint. He mixes in scoring from all three levels (3 point range, mid range and in close) while still proving to be an adept passer and solid rebounder.
Henry Vilfort (5-8, G, City On A Hill School, Roxbury, 2012) – Vilfort is an explosive athlete, who uses his first step and superior body control to finish in the lane. Vilfort also can be a terrific on ball defender, who dictates the pace of the game for his team. As he continues to learn how to run a team, the possibilities are great for this emerging talent.
James Levine (6-0, G, Natick, 2011) – Levine is a jack of all trades who fills in the blanks in a lot of areas for any team. James is a good shooter, tough competitor, terrific defender and winner who will be a valued rotation player for most any Division III program around.
Jameel Moise (6-4, F, Brockton, 2012) – Moise is a hyper-athletic wing player who can make the mid range jumper but excels on the glass and on the break. He is hard nosed defender who is extremely coachable. He is just scratching the surface of his potential.
Allen Lenard (5-11, G, Brockton, 2012) – Lenard is a scorer by trade capable for exploding for serious scoring binges in a short amount of time. When focused, he also is very solid on the ball as a defender and is working towards becoming a more complete point guard. He is one of those under the radar guys for this upcoming summer of 2011.
Shane Sims (6’6”, F, Brockton, 2011) – Sims is as talented a forward as there is in his class as there is so much he is able to do. He is a good scorer from 15-17 feet away from the basket, and he can pass and rebound the ball extremely well. He is also adept with his back to the basket and demonstrates an ability to set up his teammates with good passes from the post. When he realizes that and complements his talent with consistent team oriented focus, he will be something to behold.

BABC Veteran's Day Classic Brings Out the Best
Noah Vonleh Shines At BABC Classic
Most of the best players in New England found there way to the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston this past weekend to participate in the BABC Veteran's Day Classic. The event included New England's top three rated members of the class of 2013 in BABC's Nerlens Noels (Tilton), Connecticut Selects Kuran Iverson (Northwest Catholic H.S., CT), and Rivals Noah Vonleh (Haverhill H.S.). Also at the event were class of 2011 Middlesex Magic's Pat Connaughton (St. John's Prep), Class of 2012 BABC's Jake Laymen (King Phillip), BABC's George Niang (Tilton), Class of 2013 BABC's Goodluck Okonoboh (Tilton), BABC's Rene Castro (Beaver Country Day), Rivals Matt Cimino (Chevrus H.S., ME), RI Hawks Jake Fay (Brimmer & May), and Rivals Dimitri Floras (Merrimack, NH) as well as class of 2014 Rivals Alec Brennan (Milton Academy).
As far as the Massachusetts and New Hampshire High School players go, Haverhill High School sophomore Noah Vonleh again showed us why he may be the best prospect in all of New England. The 6'7" just 15 year old sophomore, who is still growing, played the game above the rim all weekend long attacking and finishing at the rim. Vonleh had some great offensive putbacks and some big time blocks against the likes of Niang and Noels.
Notre Dame bound Pat Connaughton from Saint John's Prep has been playing a lot of basketball this Fall. Connaughton again demonstrated his athletic ability and his ability to finish hard and above the rim.
Jake Laymen from King Phillips is better every time we see him. Laymen played the point on the BABC 1-2-2 press this weekend and showed his athleticism and length to get his hands on ball after ball. Laymen also showed his ability to fly through the air and finish above the rim as he has some thunderous finishes. Added to that, Laymen stepped away from the basket and knocked down threes on a consistent basis.
Dimitri Floras from Merrmack H.S., NH played extremely well this weekend as he demonstrated his ability to lead the point. Floras has really developed one of the best pullups on the high school circuit as he knocked down shot after shot this weekend.
