Recent Notable Performances
Stock is Rising for these Four Players
Coleton Neely, Pembroke Academy - The 5'10" guard is currently the #21 ranked senior in NH. But his stock has been on the rise signifantly this season after he missed last year with an illness. On Tuesday night vs. Coe-Brown, Neely scored a game-high 21 points. 16 of them came in the first half, and he also hit four three pointers and went 7-8 from the line. Neely also plays good defense, has a good handle and is constantly attacking offensively.
Josh Morgan, Campbell High School - The 6'2" swingman is currently the #20 ranked junior in NH. On Wednesday night, Morgan scored his 1,000th career point on a deep three point shot early in the second half against Farmington. He scored 18 points on the game to help Campbell to a 71-50 win in the preliminary round of the Class M tournament. Morgan plays the game with a lot of enegy and always has an extra hop in his step. He can shoot the three or take it to the hle effectively.
Ashley Gendron, Manchester Memorial High School - Gendron is one of our players to watch in the Class of 2011 for NH girls, and she showed why on Tuesday night. In a game that featured some of NH's best young talent on the girls side, it was Gendron who showed the most. She scored a game-high 32 points to lead the Crusaders to a 51-48 victory over Bishop Guertin.
Lizzy Ball, Manchester Essex High School - The 5'8" point guard (pictured left) is currently the #9 ranked junior for the Class of 2011 girls in Massachusetts. On Wednesday night she showed why her stock is definitely on the rise. Her Manchester Essex team had a 10-12 record going in, and they traveled to play the top ranked Pope John team who was 17-4. Ball had a monster game, and led . She scored a game-high 30 points, to go with 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals. It was one of the better individual performances we have seen this season on the girls side.
