High School Boys Get Ready For Summer Live Period

The live division 1 period (the only time division 1 coaches can watch prospects play) is rapidly approaching and the major AAU programs in Massachusetts and New Hamsphire will be heading on the road with the intent of capturing the eye of these college coaches:

Here is a look at what some of the major MA and NH AAU programs will be doing:

BABC - The 6'8" Jake Layman (left) from King Phillips High School has shown himself to be an excellent division 1 prospect this Spring. Layman is also joined by 5'9" Jalen Brantley who has dazzeled people with his play this Spring.

Mass Rivals - Javon Williams from Nashua North High School is a talented point guard whose athleticism and killer crossover to a jump shot has made him a division 1 prospect.

Playaz Basketball Club - Andover's junior Joe Bramanti had an excellent tournament with the Playaz in the Rumble in the Bronx and will be traveling with the Playaz this summer.

Other Mass and NH high school AAU teams will be traveling to Orlando for the AAU Nationals during July as well. Most noticeably are the Middlesex Magic who have St. John's Prep's Pat Connaughton (left) who has proven himself to be a division 1 prospect; as well as the Boston Warriors AAU, and the Granite State Jayhawks.

Vonleh in Top 30 of ESPN Upcoming Sophomores:

Noah Vonleh Makes National News

Noah Vonleh is considered one to the top 30 sophomores to be in the country according to ESPN who just realeased their most current rankings. Vonleh, who stands at 6'6" is only 14 years old, is quite the talent. The long and athletic point forward made much noise in the Merrimack Valley Conference as a member of the Haverhill High School team averaging over 15 points and 10 rebounds per game as he earned an All-Conference selection. Vonleh has continued his remarkable play for the Mass Rivals throughout the Spring and has become one of the most recognizable freshman names in the country. The talented Vonleh can play all five positions on the floor, has he has great handle and a superb knack for scoring the basketball. Vonleh is also extremely athletic and plays the game above the rim.

He's a long, strong swingman with huge hands and feet but appears to still be growing. Vonleh has star qualities with instinctive efficiency in his game. He attacks the rim, is a big-time rebounder and has a rapidly-developing jump shot.
