LaRosa Headed to Salve Regina

Salem Guard Makes Commitment

Alex LaRosa, a senior guard for Salem High School and consensus top 5 high school prospect in NH, has made his college choice. The 5'10" LaRosa will be taking his game to Salve Regina University, a Division III school in Rhode Island.

LaRosa has had a huge senior season so far for Salem High. He's one of the top shooters in the state, and has scored 30 or more points five teams this year. He also also led the Blue Devils to 10 wins in their last 12 games. LaRosa is a very nice addition to Coach Sean Foster's program.

LaRosa isn't the only NH player Foster is after. Merrimack High's Eric Watson, who played with LaRosa on the Granite State Jayhawks AAU team last year, is also considering Salve Regina. The 6'3" Watson is still weighing his option though, and is expected to make a final decision soon.
