Jonathan Perez Leads Lowell to VictoryJonathan Perez (our eleventh ranked sophomore) scored 19 points as Lowell High School upset Andover 50-47 on Saturday afternoon at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA. Perez scored the winning basket with 50 seconds left to put Lowell up by a point. Andover was our eleventh ranked team in Massachusetts and Andover featured our 4th ranked senior in Joe Bramanti (16 points) and 7th ranked sophomore in Sam Dowden (6 points).
In action out West, Alex Garstka (our 24th ranked senior) scored 25 points on four threes to lead Westfield to a 69-39 victory over Nazerath (NY). Jake Laga made five threes and had 28 points in Northampton's 74-62 win over Tacomic.
In Central Mass, Xavier Garcia scored 14 points to lead Sabis to a 58-48 victory over Worcester North.
